Big Sur International Marathon

The famous coastal marathon on Highway 1

The Big Sur International Marathon runs north along Highway 1 from Big Sur toward Carmel, crossing Bixby Creek Bridge, with a 6:45 AM start on Sunday, April 25, 2027. Highway 1 closes along the course on race morning. The Carmel end of the course is about 15 minutes from Sand Dollar Inn.
